Since 2008, this story has lived in my mind—rent-free and growing louder each year! It’s a tale of children experiencing magical adventures on a mystical island called Zeerorica.
Over the years, I created a website dedicated to publishing coloring pages, word searches, and stories in Papiamento. I still dream of the day when I can work on these projects full-time!
But I didn’t stand still. My passion caught the attention of Het Cultuurfonds Caribisch Gebied and Unoca, who helped support my dream of bringing this story to life through animation. After navigating life’s ups and downs, I’m now moving full speed ahead with this project!

Here’s what I envision for my animated series:
🎬 Story Duration: Each animated story will be between 15 to 20 minutes long.
🎨 Animation Style: The animation will be in 2D, bringing a hand-crafted charm to every scene.
🎼 Musical Atmosphere: Classical music will set the tone, with original arrangements by local composers adding a Caribbean touch.
🏝 Cultural Inspiration: The characters and world will be deeply inspired by Aruba and the Caribbean, celebrating their beauty, culture, friendliness.
💖 Storyline: The stories will focus on love and friendship. We will take out the overcomplication of life on this subject and make life simple.
